Access and use of the services at Codeveda ("codeveda.dev") are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

All content on Codeveda is protected. You may not copy, distribute, or republish content for commercial purposes without written consent. User content licenses Codeveda to use the content. Code samples may be licensed under MIT.

4. User Obligations

  • Do not misuse Codeveda services or attempt to extract source code.
  • Do not upload harmful content or infringe upon rights of others.
  • Respect local and international laws during use.
  • App Store use is subject to respective terms of Apple or Google.

5. User Content

Users must not upload content that is defamatory, infringing, hateful, false, or harmful. Codeveda reserves the right to remove any user content that violates these terms.

6. Descriptions and Contents of Materials

6.1 We aim to be as accurate as possible when describing materials. However, we do not guarantee that descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Codeveda does not always exercise editorial control over user or third-party content. Any opinions or advice provided are those of the respective authors and not of Codeveda.

7. Purchasing and Payment

7.1 Prices listed on Codeveda.dev are in USD unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

7.2 Various payment plans are available, allowing you to purchase credits to access materials. Plan details are listed on our site.

7.3 Additional terms may apply to certain purchases. If these terms differ from our general terms, the specific terms will take precedence.

7.4 Upon successful order placement and acceptance, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

7.5 Payments must be completed via credit/debit card, PayPal, or other supported methods before access is granted.

7.6 Orders will not be held if payment is declined. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds or credit.

7.7 Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled via your Codeveda account settings.

7.8 You may purchase non-transferable, limited-use virtual items via real-world currency, solely for use on Codeveda.

7.9 Codeveda reserves the right to modify, manage, or discontinue virtual items without notice or liability.

7.10 Transfers or reselling of virtual items is strictly prohibited.

7.11 You are responsible for all applicable fees and taxes incurred using your registered account.

7.12 All transactions are processed via third-party providers, governed by their policies. Codeveda is not liable for third-party service issues.

7.13 We reserve the right to cancel any transaction resulting from pricing or content errors. If you've been charged, a refund will be processed.

8. Refunds and Returns

8.1 If your account is closed or terminated, no refunds will be issued for unused credits, content, or virtual items.

9. Warranties

9.1 In compliance with the Nepal Consumer Protection Act, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You're entitled to a refund or replacement for major failures.

9.2 We aim to process valid refunds/replacements within 30 days of receiving the product or confirming a defect.

10. Disclaimer

10.1 All services and content on Codeveda.dev are provided "as is" without warranties, unless stated under applicable law.

10.2 We don't guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or secure access to our services or materials.

10.3 All information provided is general and not professional advice.

10.4 We are not liable for losses resulting from:

  • Inaccuracies or errors
  • Unauthorized access to user data
  • Transmission of harmful code
  • Service interruptions

10.5 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

10.6 We reserve the right to make changes to the service or charge fees. Any changes will be communicated clearly.

10.7 The Codeveda app stores user data and requires you to secure your device. Do not jailbreak or root your device.

10.8 App functionality depends on your internet connection. We are not liable for any related issues.

10.9 Mobile network charges are your responsibility when using the app outside Wi-Fi zones.

10.10 You are responsible for ensuring your device remains charged while using the app.

10.11 Codeveda participates in affiliate programs like Amazon Associates. We may earn commissions through affiliate links.

10.12 App updates may be required to maintain functionality. We may also discontinue the app at any time.

11. Links and Advertisements

11.1 The Service may contain links to other websites, including but not limited to those of third-party suppliers and providers ("linked websites"). These links are provided for convenience only and may not remain current or be maintained. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices associated with linked websites.

11.2 Our links to linked websites should not be construed as an endorsement, approval, or recommendation by us of the owners or operators of those websites or of any information, graphics, materials, products, or services referred to or contained on those websites, unless otherwise stated.

11.3 Responsibility for the content of any advertisements appearing on the Service rests solely with the advertisers. The placement of an advertisement does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by us. Each advertiser is solely responsible for any claims made in connection with its advertisements.

12. Indemnity

12.1 You agree to fully indemnify and hold us (and our directors and officers) harmless from any expenses, costs, losses, or damages (including consequential losses) that we may incur as a result of your use of the Service or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

13. Breach, Termination, and Suspension

13.1 We may terminate these Terms and Conditions (and your User Account) immediately upon written notice if you breach them and fail to remedy the breach within 7 days or if the breach is incapable of remedy.

13.2 We may suspend your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions. This may include blocking your IP address or contacting your internet service provider.

13.3 We may terminate the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such termination, except as required by law.

13.4 Upon termination or suspension, any undownloaded Materials in your User Account will no longer be available.

13.5 Any provisions capable of surviving termination will continue to apply.

14. Waiver, Severance, and Assignment

14.1 Our failure to act on a breach does not waive our right to act on future breaches.

14.2 If any part of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable, that part will be severed and the remainder will remain valid.

14.3 If we merge, sell, or change control of our company, you consent to us transferring any rights to use your personal information and User Content.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Kathmandu, Nepal. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu and their Courts of Appeal.

16. Force Majeure

16.1 We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • (a) Natural disasters or acts of God;
  • (b) Cyberattacks, telecommunications or hardware failures, or third-party software malfunctions;
  • (c) Unusual demand on infrastructure;
  • (d) Failures by third parties such as banks;
  • (e) Other events outside our control.

17. Notices

17.1 Notices must be in writing and signed. They are deemed received:

  • (a) Upon hand delivery;
  • (b) Three days after posting;
  • (c) Upon fax transmission confirmation;
  • (d) Upon email delivery confirmation.

18. Miscellaneous

18.1 These Terms override all prior agreements on the same subject.

18.2 No interpretation disadvantage applies to the party drafting these Terms.

19. Amendments

19.1 Any user-proposed terms are not binding unless accepted by us in writing.
